Range provided by manufacturer is no way near the published miles , even in summer months. I drive 30 miles in total, to and from work via A1 road. If I don't charge car when I get home in morning ( permanent nights ), I wouldn't be able to go to then have enough range get home. Cold winter months at night are terrible for battery range, many cold nights drive with no heating on to save battery range, put heated seats on level 1 ! On positive notes: costs me at home approximately £25 per month on electricity to top up car to max range. Servicing was £60 full service, 90% that was labour, acceleration is phenomenal, very quiet in cabin, lots of tech for price. For an around town car it's amazing only charge once a week , but unfortunately not so good driving to and from work. Next car will have BIGGER battery so will stick with ev, now I know more about them and have heat pump for winter use most definitely!
